CARLA CHALAH –
CLINICAL HYPNOTHERAPIST
Carla Chalah (B.A./C.C.HT./C.I./HBCE/CILC) is a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, NGH Certified Hypnosis Instructor, HypnoBirthing® Childbirth Educator, NLP & EFT Practitioner, IACT Certified Integrative Life Coach, and Master Reiki Practitioner.
Carla received her B.A. Social Dynamics degree from the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa. There, she triple-majored in Psychology, Sociology, and English. Carla also completed graduate-level psychology courses at Harvard University with honors. After graduating, she served as a psychology doctoral research assistant at the Museum of Science in Cambridge. She has also completed a Harvard Business Writing and Journalism course.
Carla was inspired by her grandfather’s use of hypnotherapy as an adjunct to his dentistry practice. She pursued her passion for the mind and learning by attending the world-renowned Hypnotherapy Training Institute in Corte Madera, CA. There, she completed all 6 Levels of Certification to become a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist (C.C.HT.).
Carla holds a special certification in rewiring the brain in stroke survivors. She is passionate about integrating hypnotherapy and cutting-edge neuroscientific research and technology.
Carla is verified and listed by Psychology Today magazine, Heal.me, as well as Coachspace.
As a clinical hypnotherapist, she has appeared on BeLive TV. She has presented at national conferences and to general audiences speaking on the topics of self-hypnosis/relaxation, pain management, and stress management. Also, having published several articles on various topics related to hypnotherapy and the mind-body connection, she is considered an expert in the field.
Now settled in Sudbury, Massachusetts with her husband, two kiddos, aged 5 and 6, and their menagerie of pets, Carla has continued to pursue her passion for the mind-body connection by establishing a state of the art wellness center, EveryBody in Mind Wellness Center, in Sudbury, Massachusetts in 2019.

EMMY MATHIS
ICBCH Certified Hypnotherapist, Reiki Master Trainer, Sound Healer, and Certified Holistic Embodiment Coach
Emmy Mathis is a distinguished ICBCH Certified Hypnotherapist, Reiki Master Trainer, and Holistic Embodiment Coach with a decade of experience in holistic and client-centered therapies. She has earned a BFA, MFA, and Master’s Certificate, graduating with honors from all her academic institutions. Emmy’s passion for theory, research, and evidence-based practices has led her to excel in her studies at top-tier research institutions.
As a survivor of childhood medical abuse, sexual assault, and domestic violence, Emmy has faced PTSD and Chronic Fatigue, refusing to surrender to these diagnoses as a single parent with full custody of her two energetic children. Inspired by the book “The Body Keeps the Score,” she embarked on a journey into trauma-informed practices, applying them in her life and obtaining certifications in evidence-based, trauma-informed healing methods.
Emmy has also explored the scientific aspects of hypnotherapy and other trauma-informed practices, witnessing their potency when paired with the hypnotic state. Consequently, she has pursued certifications in these areas as well.
Emmy is dedicated to providing a safe environment for her clients. Many have reported experiencing more healing in a single session with her than in years of prior therapy. Her areas of specialization include weight loss, smoking cessation, habit formation, fears, and phobias, as well as Invisible Illnesses such as Chronic Fatigue, Fibromyalgia, PTSD and CPTSD, ADHD, Anxiety, and Depression. Emmy also has a unique understanding of working with survivors of domestic violence and those affected by dysfunctional and alcoholic family systems.
As a trauma-informed and anti-racist practitioner, Emmy is committed to serving marginalized and low-income populations.
